Joint 2018 statistics on the two Italian trade associations: National Association of Home Staging Lovers and Association of Home Staging Professionals Italy

 

The average time in Italy is 7.2 months: with home staging it falls to less than 50 days. These are the data released by the trade associations that bring together professionals in real estate development.
In recent years, the Italian real estate and non-hotel market has confirmed the validity of the work carried out: as a professional home stager of the Home Staging Lovers Association I am proud to share the winning data of the 2018 survey which show, once again, that to sell your house faster and with better conditions you can rely on a home stager.

A survey carried out by the Home Staging Lovers Association and the Home Staging Italy Professional Association shows that, when the building is staged, it is possible to find a buyer on average in 49.9 days, more than 4 times faster compared to the 7.2 months of the Italian average (source: Survey of the Italian housing market – Bank of Italy, 4th quarter 2018). The overall figure for post-home staging sales reached 91.6%. Whoever relies on a professional home stager to set up his home before selling it not only concludes the deal 4 times faster, but manages to do it at a higher price.

Advantages also for tourist accommodation for the non-hotel industry. Home staging is a valid tool to enhance tourism properties, which are on the market with a 20% higher rental price and an increase in the average occupancy rate of 30%.
