… springtime during coronavirus’ days, for those like me who are so lucky to enjoy a beautiful garden, also means outdoor games with my daughters. Among these, recalling from tradition, the classic “Witch Says Colors…”

Just as the witch on duty chooses a color and imposes its search, in the same way I chose the colors of my personal spring mood board that I want to share with you!

Witch Says Colors…

… Saffron: a warm and intense yellow, like the afternoon sun, this nuance recalls a yellow gold, or saffron, a typical product of Città della Pieve to which I am particularly attached (unforgettable experience that of collecting pistils! Read here)

… Blush Beauty by Pantone: code name, PMS 16-1534 TSX, Blush Beauty recalls the typical redness on the cheeks. A bright orange, colder than the classic Pantone orange, which inspires optimism and balance. I like it declined on these velvet armchairs, a perfect combination of style and functionality.

… green: clear and bright to remind of buttercups, or undertone and intense like chives, green is the contrasting shade chosen to highlight the warm tones of yellow and orange.

Thumbs up for wood in all its forms, as long as natural! Whether it’s an unworked trunk or woven fibers, the classic Vienna straw (a very trendy classic!), this material always tells a story and marries wonderfully with design elements with a deco or contemporary cut.

The best inspiration always comes from nature, and having time to stop and observe it is a privilege.
